Shopping trip

5" squares it is.  Surrounded by a 1" black border and today I had a FABULOUS afternoon picking borders and backing and the leaves.  It's looking much different than I imagined it, but good.  Cozy.  Instead of the leaves being made of jewel coloured batiks in William Morris fashion, it will be simple leaves in warm autumn colours...which includes blue but does not include orange.  It's my quilt after all.
