So here's my next dilemma for the secret quilt...do I make 3" squares? Or 4" or 5"??? How do you decide? The colours are grays, and the whoosh of appliqued leaves will be either in bright batiks or kaffe fassett's shot fabrics - I don't know what those ones are called but Stitch in Jordan carries them and I've been dying to find a use for them.
I don't want the leaves to be lost in the greys, and I'm not sure what effect bigger or smaller squares will have. Dig?
If anyone has any thoughts on this, I'd love to hear it. My brain is truly swimming around this decision.
