I bought some books from my friendly neighbourhood library, and began to take those poor suckers apart. They were being sold for 50 cents each, and had some fantastic titles. I knew that they were destined to be journals for someone (if that someone is you, just let me know *wink!)
I started with About Face...'cause it's red. And red is best. We all know that.
I removed the text block, sewed blank signatures with a coptic stitch so that it opens niiice and flat. I'm really pleased with the way it turned out...it's got a nice heft to it. :)
