365 #5: Jewel

Yesterday I finished this book.  I had sewn the cover, like the previous book, earlier, and down it came from my pin board:

The batik fabrics are bits leftover from my Bohemian Rhapsody quilt...I just can't bear to throw scraps out, and I'm happy that these bits have met a happy second life.

It took ages to bind, but that's likely because I was watching the beginning of the final season - season 5 -of Angel on Netflix.  Remember that show?  I'm really super glad season 4 is over, because it got batshit weird.  James Marster/Spike has joined them now, so I know I'm going to enjoy it.  So...totally worth it.
